The Certified Optical Fibre Installer (COFI) for Enterprise networks course is designed specifically for installation and maintenance staff working on enterprise, datacomms, local area (LAN) networks. It provides a broad knowledge of the fibre optic components, tools and equipment used and highlights good working practices in order to inspire a professional approach to the job role. Practical hands-on sessions build the skills required to install, joint, terminate and test fibre optic cabling enterprise links.
The syllabus shown here is designed for staff involved with standard enterprise networks. The course can be customised to cover harsh environments, industrial applications and data centres as required.

This course is a hands on task based, practical course for optical fibre installation teams. It starts from basics so no prior knowledge is required. It aims to take delegates up to a professional level in skills, knowledge and attitude. It also helps to remove incorrect working habits which might have been picked up from other cabling jobs. It can help if a team attends the course together along with their project supervisor or manager so everyone ends up working to the same professional standards.
