Public Fibre Optic Training Courses
COFI Outside Plant Network
The COFI OSP Course course is designed for installation and maintenance staff working on core telecom fibre optic networks. Including plenty of hands-on practical sessions, the course provides the skills and knowledge required to install, joint, terminate and test external fibre optic cabling links.
Purpose
The Certified Optical Fibre Installer (COFI) OSP Course is designed specifically for installation and maintenance staff working on core telecom fibre optic networks. It provides a broad knowledge of relevant fibre optic components, fibre optic tools and equipment and highlights good working practices in order to inspire a professional approach to the job role. Practical hands-on sessions build the skills required to install, joint, terminate and test external fibre optic cabling links from end to end locations.
The syllabus shown here is designed for staff involved with core telecoms networks. However versions of this certification are also available to cover Enterprise datacomms networks and Harsh environments.
All versions of this certification can be customised to meet specific requirements. Our intention is to provide the 'very best of class' installation training for corporate customers that require professional staff trained up to deal with high performance, critical or unusual networks.
